Part of me is still curious about why this was made if it wasn’t going to come with more substantial changes outside of the big visual upgrade. However, if I were to point someone to one of the many versions available, this is the one I’d recommend, whether they’re revisiting or playing for the first time. Kojima and the original team may not have been involved in this remake, but the spirit of Snake Eater persists.
